If you’re headed to the pearl of Bellagio in Lake Como, don’t miss this wine bar in the heart of the town: Angolo DiVino. I was originally brought to this wine bar by the team at IC Bellagio when I was shooting content for one of their villas. IC Bellagio is an incredible travel agency based in Bellagio, but they create personalized itineraries for people traveling throughout all of Italy.

Getting to Bellagio
When coming to Lake Como, you will likely make your way up from Milan. One of my most visited blog posts is my blog explaining how to get from Milan to Bellagio. Make sure to read that and book your trains ahead of time if you’re making your way to the lake from Milan.

How to Get From Milan to Bellagio
If you’re visiting Northern Italy, you may be wondering exactly how to get from Milan to Bellagio. Visiting Lake Como and its towns is an absolute must…
Angolo DiVino
Let’s get back to the wine bar! This wine bar is situated in the center of Bellagio, so it’s very easy to get to. Once you get off of the ferry, you’ll be greeted by pastel-hued villas and the breeze of the lake, and you will be surrounded by history that stretches back to Roman times. Bellagio is truly like unlike any other place.
The Angolo DiVino Wine bar feels like an underground tavern. It’s important to note that this wine bar does not have views of the lake from inside. I love going once the sun has gone down and the lake is quiet. It’s also magical during the off season, because it has a cozy and warm vibe.
What makes this restaurant stand out is its intimate, rustic atmosphere. You’ll see exposed stone walls, wooden barrels, warm lighting. All of the people who work there are extremely knowledgable on the local wines and dishes, so it feels like a unique Italian dining experience.
The Menu
This is so much more than a wine bar. They have outstanding food! That’s actually what I remember most. They offer a range of pastas, cheeses, and meats to pair with your wine and there are also larger portions available on the dinner menu.
Angolo DiVino has a thoughtfully curated selection of local wines, including crisp Terre Lariane whites, sparkling Locotocco, and bold Valtellina nebbiolo. You will have no issue finding a fantastic wine that will be perfect for your taste and complementary dishes.
Enjoy Bellagio
This blog post is short and sweet and I hope you’re able to visit Angolo DiVino on your next trip to Bellagio. If you’re looking for a travel agency to create a more hands-on itinerary and experience for you, don’t hesitate to reach out to IC Bellagio! They are in a league of their own when it comes to curating one-of-a-kind travel experiences in Italy.
